Safety starts with every journey
Saviaj is being designed around clear journey information, appropriate participation checks and practical tools that help passengers and drivers travel with greater confidence.
Designed for clearer decisions
Clear journey details
Review the route, timing, available seats, participation type and proposed price before requesting or accepting a journey.
Appropriate checks
Commercial drivers will complete the relevant driver, vehicle and licensing checks. Private drivers will meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
Participant control
Passengers and drivers can review journey details, preferences and requests before choosing the journeys that work for them.
Secure records and reporting
Secure payments, journey records and accessible reporting tools are intended to support clear and accountable participation.
Support throughout the journey
Saviaj’s planned safety features are intended to support participants before a journey begins, while it is taking place and after it has been completed.
Before the journey
Review journey details, participant information, the proposed price and any agreed arrangements before confirming.
During the journey
Follow the journey as it progresses and choose to share your live journey location with people you trust.
After the journey
Keep a record of the completed journey and use the available support and reporting tools if you need to raise a concern.
Share your journey with people you trust
Passengers and drivers will be able to choose trusted contacts and share their live journey location while travelling. This can help family members, friends or other trusted people follow the journey’s progress until it is completed.
Live-location sharing will be optional and controlled by the person sharing it. Access should be limited to the selected contacts and the relevant journey, with sharing ending when the journey is completed or when the user chooses to stop it.
